Do you dog walk?
I do not currently offer a dog walking service; however, I may be able to care for your dog depending upon the circumstances. Please contact me with your details for an informal, no obligation chat.
If my pet is ill will you take them to the vet?
I will take your vet’s contact details during the introductory meeting. Should the need arise, I will of course take them to your regular vet.
What happens to your keys?
Your house keys will be stored at a safe location at my home. I will post them back through your letter box, or leave them in your preferred location after my last visit. If you are a daily customer, they will be returned to you after you no longer need my services.

Are you insured?
I am fully insured and DBS checked.

What if my pet requires fresh food?
Please leave enough food and litter to cover your visit. If your pet requires fresh food, such as salad or fruit, please leave enough cash to cover the costs. I will leave your change in a safe place ready for when you return.

What happens if you can't come?
If there is an emergency and I am not able to visit, another Cozy Pet's representative will visit. They will have access to the questionnaire completed during the introductory meeting. Your pet and house will always be cared for.

My flight is delayed what should I do?
Don't worry if you ever need to unexpectedly extend the number of visits you need. Just let me know and I will fit you in.
What areas do you cover?
I primarily cover the Oakham and Uppingham areas, including the local villages. In exceptional circumstances I might be able to go beyond this, but there will be an additional charge to cover fuel costs based on the mileage.
How do you calculate your costs?
All prices are based on the location and travel costs; the number of pets and the time commitment involved.
How do you calculate the costs for an additional duty?
All prices are dependent on your specific requirements: the location; the number of pets and visits that are being booked; and the time involved.
What do you charge for Bank Holidays and weekends?
Bank Holidays and weekends are charged at my standard rate plus 50 per cent. This includes Good Friday, Easter Sunday and New Year’s Day. (Please note that I do not usually work over Christmas, but I may be able to in special circumstances.)

If I need pet and house sitting do I need to pay twice?
No. Standard house sitting services are included if I am caring for your pets. Other services can be included by negotiation.

What do I do if I would like a service that is not listed?
I try to be versatile, but if you require a service that is not listed, please contact me and I will do my best to meet your and your pet’s needs.
What payment do you accept?
All payment should be made a minimum of one week/ 7 days in advance preferably via bank transfer or BACs.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. For cancellations made after that I will refund you 90 per cent of the cost, but will keep 10 per cent for holding your place.
